This doll is Margie one of the Kindergarten Kiddies of 1951. She is 8" high, all hard plastic, with a strung body. Marked: Vogue Doll.
She has painted tan brows & lashes, root beer colored sleep eyes, ruby lips & rosy cheeks. Her eyes stick as is common with these early Ginny dolls.
She wears her original light auburn wig, parted down the center with two long braids. Each is still tied with the original rayon bows.
Her original outfit includes a blue waffle weave dress with gathered sleeves and floral trim. She also wears matching bloomers, white rayon socks & blue center-snap shoes.
One side of her silver foil tag reads: A Vogue Doll, the other: Margie #28.
