This doll is Pappy Yokum from the Lil Abner Comics. He was made in 1957, is all vinyl & stands 13'' high. His sewn-on tag reads: Al Capp Dog Patch Family, Exclusive Baby Barry Toy.
He has a great painted face, molded hair, and a beard.His body is one-piece, jointed at the neck.
He wears a striped knit shirt, jeans w/ patches & tie belt, felt vest, and big brown shoes. Mammy Yokum is also pictured.
