This is a pair of 1960's era German Dolls, a boy and a girl. Marked: 30 Made in West Germany (with the Schildkrot Turtle Mark). Each doll is 12" high with a vinyl head and jointed plastic body.

Both have wonderful faces with a wax look to them, pale blue sleep eyes, long lashes, an open/closed mouth with two teeth, dimples & rosy cheeks.

Both also have rooted blonde hair, soft, fluffy and in the original sets.

Although the bodies are plastic, they still have a slightly celluloid quality to them.

The dolls wear their original German outfits. This includes lederhosen and a jacket for the boy, a print dress & apron for the girl. Both also wear white socks & shoes, plus a red bonnet & green straw hat. The outfits are wonderful. Each also has their Turtle Mark paper hang tag.
