This doll is Little Miss Pattycake. This is one of the baby dolls, made around 1940. She is 4" high, all bisque, with jointed arms & legs. She has closed fists, making her one of the earlier, harder to find babies.
The doll has a cute painted face and molded & painted brown hair. Marked: Story Book Doll USA 1.
Little Miss Pattycake comes in her original small box, without any clothing. Some babies were sold this way, allowing them to be dressed by their new owners. This is one of those dolls.
