This is a Sweet Sue Bride Doll. Made by American Character in 1953. She is 18" high, all hard plastic, and is a walker.

Her face is lovely, with a matte finish, bright coloring & original paint. She has blue sleep eyes with the molded eye ridge, intact lashes, ruby lips & blushed cheeks. Her walking mechanism still works fine, with head turning nicely.

Sue wears her original bridal ensemble. This includes a white satin gown with lace top & overskirt, and a rayon ribbon at the waist She also wears her taffeta & net petticoat, satin bloomers, nylon stockings, and white satin center-snap shoes. Her original veil is on her head.
