This doll is Smarty. Marked Alexander 1962, made by Madame Alexander. She is 12" high, all jointed vinyl & plastic with a toddler body.

Her face is adorable, with bright coloring & original paint. Also blue sleep eyes, intact lashes, an open smiling mouth & rosy cheeks.

Her rooted hair is carrot red, straight & shiny w/bangs.

Smarty wears her original tagged dress. It is turquoise gingham checked, decorated w/ white lace, plus matching bloomer panties. She also wears original white socks, vinyl shoes & blue hair bow. The outfit is excellent. She also has her original paper hang tag still tied to her wrist.
