This doll Marme from the Little Women Series. Made by Madame Alexander between 1959-66 using the Lissy face mold.
She is all hard plastic, with a lovely complexion, blue sleep eyes, molded lashes, pink lips, & rosy cheeks.
Marme wears her original tagged outfit. This includes a burgandy taffeta dress with a tiny brooch at the neckline, white eyelet apron, & white ruffled mob cap.
She also wears snowy white pantlets & a stiff white petticoat, both with crochet trim. Plus white stockings & black suede shoes.
