This doll is Tiny Tears. Marked: Ame. Character plus patent numbers. Made by American Character Doll Co. in 1950. She is 16" high with a hard plastic head and jointed rubber toddler body.

She has hazel eyes, an open 'nurser' mouth, tear holes & pink cheeks. One eye is missing the lashes.

Tiny Tears wears her original pink & white cotton dress w/ tiny trim & pink buttons, panties, and white oil-cloth tie shoes. She also has her original auburn caracul wig.

Also pictured: a pink fleece blanket, glass bottle, bottle brush, pacifier & rattle. All are vintage.
