Here is a 1940's era composition doll. Unmarked except for an 18 on her back. She was tagged as Bright Star by her previous owner. Bright Star was made by Horsman and was only marked with a hang tag. The doll is 18" high, all jointed composition.
The doll wears her original white ruffled cotton panties, rayon socks & oil cloth tie shoes. The backs of the shoes need re-stitching. She also wears a wonderful pink corduroy coat & matching hat with a black feather. These are vintage, probably sewn from a pattern. She holds a little pink taffeta purse.
