Here is a 1940 era Black Americana Mammy Doll. She is 11" high, tightly stuffed fabric, jointed at the shoulders & hips.
Made of black fabric, with old button eyes, red lips, & little tufts of yarn hair.
She wears her original cotton print dress, muslin apron, neck scarf, petticoat & panties. Also a red head scarf & black oil cloth boots.
The doll was originally bought on a family trip through the south, and was always displayed in a glass cabinet.
