This is a doll from about 1930. She is unmarked, but may be an early Regal doll, possibly one of the Kiddie Pals. She is 18" high, all jointed composition.
She has a wonderful face, with great coloring & original paint. Also blue tin sleep eyes, intact sable lashes, an open mouth w/ tongue & four teeth, and rosy cheeks.
She wears her original auburn mohair wig, styled in a bob with center part & bangs.
The doll is dressed as a school girl, and wears an adorable vintage outfit, probably home sewn. It includes a white cotton blouse and powder blue flared corduroy jumper. She also wears white panties, and vintage striped socks & canvas shoes.
