This is a Schoenhut Doll. Made between 1921-28. Marked with the original 1911 label on her back.

She is Miss Dolly measuring 16" high. She is all wooden, jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, & ankles, with steel springs and holes in the bottom of her feet. This doll can be posed in many positions, is heavy and stands alone.

She has a charming face, with original paint, blue sleep eyes, pink eye & nostril dots, an open mouth w/ four painted teeth and pink cheeks.

She has her original pale blonde mohair wig, styled in the original short bob.

Miss Dolly wears a vintage yellow linen dress. I'm not sure if it's original, but it suits her well. Pinned to the bodice is an antique enamel bluebird pin. She also wears matching panties, older white rayon socks & shoes. On her head is a vintage straw hat with velvet flowers. She carries her little celluloid baby doll.
